Children of different weights and ages require different styles of child restraints. Our friendly and helpful sales staff are all trained safety restraint fitters with many years experience and will assist you in choosing the most suitable restraint for your child, vehicle and budget. Once your choice is made they can then fit the seat for you.

Your child’s safety is an important issue. Did you know a cut as small as 5 mm can reduce the performance of your child’s restraint by one half? In certain circumstances that could be enough to render it ineffective in a crash. Child seats older than 10 years from the date of manufacture are not guarenteed to perform as intended in an accident due to the uncertainty of rate of deterioration of the plastics used in their manufacture. Don’t wait for an accident to find out your child’s restraint needs replacing.

We offer a wide range of restraints for sale and for hire. We are also an Authorised Fitting Station for child restraint fitting and inspections, so you can trust our team to ensure your restraints are adjusted and fitted to the highest of standards.

Infant Restraints
Suitable from birth up to 9kg*

These are dedicated, rear facing infant restraints that will carry a baby until 9kg* maximum (approx 6m).

Convertible Child Restraints
Suitable from birth up to 18kg*

These are combination child restraints that will carry a baby rear facing from birth until 9kg (approx 6m) or 12kg (approx 12m) maximum, then forward facing from as early as 8kg up to 18kg* maximum (approx 4y).

Forward-facing Child Restraints
Suitable from 8kg up to 18kg*

These are dedicated forward facing child restraints with an inbuilt harness suitable from 8kg (approx 6m) up to 18kg* maximum (approx 4y).

Convertible Booster Seats
Suitable from 8kg up to 26kg*

These are combination forward facing child restraints with an inbuilt harness suitable for use from 8kg (approx 6m) up to 18kg* maximum (approx 4y). Then after this time the seat converts to be used as a booster seat with the adult seatbelt being used alone or in combination with a separate child harness to restrain your child up until 26kg* maximum (approx 7y).

Child Booster Seats
Suitable from 14kg to 26kg*

A booster seat is used  after your child has outgrown their seat with the inbuilt harness (maximum 18kg*). It is used with the adult seatbelt alone or in combination with a separate child harness to restrain your child up until 26kg* maximum (approx 7y).

*regardless of weight restrictions and age recommendations a child is considered too big for their restraint when their eye level exceeds the height of the child restraint they are using.
